Starting with build 20206 through the Dev Channel, Windows 10 introduces a new Emoji Picker design that now incorporates support for animated GIFs images and clipboard history. In addition, the same preview also comes with a refined touch keyboard with rounded keys and app bar to make it easier to drag the keyboard around, similar to the experience included with Windows 10X.

The new experiences are available officially starting with Windows 10 build 20206, but only a subset of testers will receive them by default, which means that if you want to try them out, you must enable them manually with a third-party tool called “ViVeTool” created by Rafael Rivera and Lucas in GitHub.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to activate the new emoji panel as well as the new touch keyboard on Windows 10.
