On Windows 10, Sticky Notes is a handy little tool that helps you to take small notes quickly right from within the desktop.

However, the tool has been designed to only take quick notes, so it doesn’t include a lot of features or an archival system to undelete items, but if you delete a note with important content, you can still recover them as long as you’re using the app with a Microsoft account.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to restore notes that you may have deleted by accident from Sticky Notes on Windows 10.

How to recover deleted Sticky Notes

To recover deleted notes from Sticky Notes, use these steps:

  1. Open Outlook on the web.

  2. Sign in with the account connected to Windows 10.

  3. Click on Deleted Items from the left pane.

  4. Select the note that you want to recover.

  5. Click the Restore button.
