I’ve just scanned down through this long scroll, but didn’t see anything that Microsoft has done regarding the infamous Windows.old.
This has caused more grief than needed in the past and even with the last major update back in the Fall, I wound up having to copy Windows 10 from an external drive to the internal drive, because removing Windows.old cause the computer not to reboot. This problem getting rid of Windows.old should have been addressed a long ways back but of course hasn’t and it appears it still isn’t.
I’ve still got the Windows.old directory and though it shows empty, I’m not going to remove it for fear of destroyed the system again.
Now i expect to have another Windows.old Folder created of which we have to go through the same thing again. The usual so called fixes don’t.

One question: I see no information if the mstsc.exe will be updated(fixed) in this update? The 1709 update really did a number on it, causing quite a few issues and we’re wondering if they might be fixed in 1803…
