Google Chrome now includes the ability to enable or disable live caption for videos and audio from the web. Live Caption is actually an accessibility feature designed to help those with hearing problems. However, anyone can use it to watch videos quietly, understand what exactly the other person is saying, or it can be a tool to help you learn another language.
When you enable Live Caption, Chrome will overlay the screen with live-generated captions of the video or audio playing in the tab. You can use the default size or make it bigger, and you can click and drag the overlay to the section on the screen you want.
Live Caption is available starting version 89, but it is currently limited to English and for Windows 10 devices, but Google says that more languages will be supported in the future.
