On October 16, Microsoft is finally launching the new Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 devices, and you can order them now from the Microsoft Store, Amazon, and many other retailers across the globe.
Although the new devices don’t change the design from the previous version, they’re a lot faster using Intel 8th generation processors. They offer longer battery life, and now, they also come in a gorgeous black finish.
Surface Pro 6
The Surface Pro 6 is 67 percent faster thanks to the 8th generation Intel quad-core processors, and the model featuring a Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of storage starts at $899. If you go for the black finish model with 256GB of storage, it’ll cost $1199.
As per usual, you can use the device as a laptop, but you’ll need to purchase the Type Cover separately for $159.99.
Surface Laptop 2
The Surface Laptop 2 is 85 percent faster thanks to the 8th generation Intel processors, and the Core i5 processor with 8GB and 128GB of storage starts at $999. If you opt for the black finish model, which comes with 256GB of storage, then it’ll run you $1299.
You can order the laptop today from the Microsoft Store and Amazon.
Both devices are available now in Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
