Although Microsoft Edge has been available for iPhone devices for a few months, it wasn’t compatible with other Apple devices. Today, Microsoft is updating its browser for iOS, and it’s finally including iPad support.
The app is still in the preview stage with all the basic features you can expect on a web browser, including “Continue to PC” to resume activities on your PC. In fact, if you’ve been using Edge on your iPhone, the version for iPad is the same, just modified to work in a larger screen.
However, in its current stage, Microsoft Edge for iPad doesn’t now include iOS 11 split screen functionality, but we can only assume, it’s a feature in the works.
The iOS version of Microsoft Edge is now available for testers through the Apple’s developer program TestFlight. If you’re using this program, you’ll need to wait a little longer until the software giant makes the browser for iPad available to everyone in the coming months.
