Windows 11 2022 Update (version 22H2) introduces a new Snap layouts interface, which allows you to drag a window to the top of the screen to reveal the Snap layouts menu. Then you can drop the window on top of a zone to snap it and use snap assists to finish snapping the windows in the selected layout.
Although this new feature makes organizing windows on the screen easier, it’s not something everyone likes to use. If you are among those who prefer to use Snap assist with the keyboard or Snap layouts from the maximize button, Windows 11 22H2 includes an option to disable the feature.
This guide will teach you the steps to disable the drag to the top of the screen Snap layouts menu on Windows 11 22H2.
