On June 24, 2021, Microsoft officially introduced to the world “Windows 11,” the next version of its desktop operating system. While the company opted to stream the live event from its own network, the transmission didn’t go as expected. The connection crashed within seconds and it continued breaking for a big part of the event. However, in case you missed it, you can also watch the full event at any time from the Windows YouTube channel.
The video covers everything the company announced during the Windows 11 event from the new UI design changes with rounded corners and transparent elements, to the new Start menu, taskbar, new ways to snap windows, and more. The company also revealed many performance improvements coming to the operating system and gaming.
