Alongside the official announcement of the Surface Duo, Microsoft has now published the virtual press event video recently held for the media.
The event presented by Microsoft’s Windows and Devices chief, Panos Panay, talked about everything that everyone needs to know about Surface Duo, including the best tips to get started and the technology inside the new phone form factor.
During the video presentation, Panos showed off many of the Surface Duo best features, such as working with one or two apps, app group to launch two apps at the same time, tent mode two watch videos without having to hold the device, algorithms to predict how apps open in different scenarios, and much more.
The Surface Duo team also revealed some of the hardware specs and technology behind the device, such as the hinge design, how the two screens work together with Android 10, and the efforts that went into making the device perfectly balanced when you’re holding it.
The dual-screen device running Android is expected to launch on September 10, 2020, and you can order it now in the United States for $1399 at the Microsoft Store, Best Buy, and AT&T.
