If the computer is a Dell computer and SupportAssist is installed, it is probably the entity waking the computer.

To verify, disconnect the network cable from the computer before placing the computer in sleep mode.

In the morning, the computer will be awake and SupportAssist will be complaining about not being connected to the network.

I resolved the issue by uninstalling SupportAssist.
