How to enable dark theme on Microsoft Edge for Android

If the light theme isn't your color on Microsoft Edge for Android, you can switch to dark theme using these steps.

On Android, Microsoft Edge out-of-the-box uses a light theme, but the browser also includes an option that lets you switch to a dark theme to change the look and feel just like on Windows 10.

If you’re using the Microsoft browser on your Android phone, switching themes is a pretty straightforward task.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to change the appearance of Microsoft Edge using its dark theme on Android.

How to enable Microsoft Edge dark mode on Android

In order to use the dark theme on Edge for Android, do the following:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Tap the menu (three-dot) button at the bottom-right corner.

  3. Tap on Settings.

  4. Tap on Appearance.

  5. Tap on Theme.

  6. Select the Dark option.

After completing the steps, Edge will use its dark theme just like on Windows 10.

You can always switch back to the light theme using the same instructions, but on step No. 6, make sure to select the Light option.
