How to set Google as your default search engine on Microsoft Edge

If you prefer Google search results, you can easily change the settings on Microsoft Edge to remove Bing as the default.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Go to Google.com. Otherwise, the option to switch won’t be available.

How to set Google as the default homepage on Microsoft Edge

If you also want Google to be set as your homepage, you need to do the following:

  4. Click the View Advanced Settings button.

  5. Under “Show the home button,” select A specific page.

  6. Set Google.com as your homepage.

In addition, if you want Microsoft Edge to always start with Google, do the following:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  4. Use the “Open Microsoft Edge with” drop-down menu, select A specific page or pages.

  5. Set Google.com and your start page.
