Although Microsoft won’t be officially revealing its new Surface devices until its October 2 event in New York City, images of the new Surface tablet featuring an ARM processor, Surface Pro 7, and Surface Laptop 3 have leaked onto the web.
The images were revealed by @evleaks on Twitter, someone who’s known to leak accurate information about Microsoft products, recently posted several images giving us a glimpse of the Surface based on ARM, which includes thin bezels and two USB Type-C ports on a chassis that has a thinner profile of previous releases of the tablet.
According to the Thurrott report, the device is also expected to get a new Type Cover as well as a new Surface Pen, which this time around will have an updated design, which according to sources will charge wirelessly, and it’ll have a dedicated charger.
You’ll be able to dock the pen onto the cover, and the cover will be able to close with pen inside. However, it’s unclear how it’ll work until Microsoft shows it off during the event.
Along with the leak, there’s an image about the new Surface Laptop 3 that feature a larger display and no more Alcantara on the keyboard. Although, it doesn’t appear in the render, it’s also expected that the new laptop will include a USB Type-C port.
As for the Surface Pro 7, this update will bring new colors, design improvements, and USB Type-C, in addition to Type-A port.
Also, Microsoft is expected to announce new peripherals, including a new Arc Touch mouse in various colors.
The company is expected to officially unveil the new Surface devices and accessories during its October 2 event in New York City, which you’ll be able to watch live starting a 10 AM.
