Watch Microsoft Surface event for September 23, 2023

Microsoft will hold a new Surface hardware event on September 21, and here's how to watch it.

UPDATED 9/22/2023: Microsoft is expected to hold the next Surface event on September 21, 2023, and you can watch the presentation from the official Microsoft website at 1PM ET / 10AM PT.

Although the company isn’t anticipating anything, it’s expected to unveil new devices. For example, the software giant is likely to introduce the new Surface Go 4, Surface Laptop Go 3, and Surface Laptop 2.

In addition, Microsoft is expected to share more details on some of the new features and changes coming with the next release of Windows 11 (version 23H2), and there could be more information on new AI features.

Originally, Panos Panay, the chief product officer at Microsoft, was supposed to be the main presenter of the event. However, on September 18, he announced his departure from the company after 19 years to join Amazon. Panay will continue to be around for a few more weeks, but only for the transition period. Yusuf Mehdi will be the person replacing Panay, and he will be presenting during the next Surface hardware event.

The event will take place in New York City, and it will start at 10AM ET / 7AM PT, but the recording will be available for everyone else at 1PM ET / 10AM PT, which means that the streaming won’t be live.
