Windows 10 build 18875 (20H1) releases with improvements

Microsoft begins rolling out preview of Windows 10 version 2003 to testers in the Fast ring with build 18875.

Microsoft is now rolling Windows 10 build 18875 for devices in the Fast ring and for a small group of testers with devices enrolled in the Skip Ahead option. This is the eighth preview and the first in the Fast ring that releases as part of the 20H1 development.

Windows 10 build 18875, according to the company, is a small update that introduces an updated Japanese IME experience with a few improvements. In addition, this flight also includes a new IME for Simplified and Traditional Chinese. In this new experience, users can expect an improved security and reliability. You’ll also notice a cleaner interface for the candidate window and settings pages. Improved and renewed settings of the IMEs are available in the Settings app.

As for fixes, build 18875 address freezing problems in the Lock screen, problems with the Settings app and other apps.

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 18875, the update is available immediately through the Fast and Skip Ahead rings. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.

Warning: This is a pre-release version of Windows 10, and it’s not recommended to install them on your primary machine. If you’re planning to test this build, make sure to create a backup of your files before proceeding.
