Windows 10 build 18860 (20H1) releases with improvements

A new preview for the Windows 10 version 2003 (build 18860) releases with a few new improvements, and here's all you need to know.

Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 18860 for devices enrolled in the Skip Ahead ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is the sixth preview releasing to testers as part of the 20H1 development coming in spring 2020.

Windows 10 build 18860, according to the company, is a minor update that brings the SwiftKey typing technology to 39 more languages (see link below). In addition, this flight addresses a few issues with Microsoft Edge, Settings app, night light, battery drain, virtual machines, and Wi-Fi.

Alongside the new improvements, Microsoft is also announcing several known issues for Windows 10 build 18860 at the Windows Blog.

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 18860, the update is available immediately through the Fast ring. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.

Warning: This is a pre-release version of Windows 10, and it’s not recommended to install them on your primary machine. If you’re planning to test this build, make sure to create a backup of your files before proceeding.
