Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 18836 for devices enrolled in the Fast ring with Skip Ahead option. This is the first preview releasing as part of the 20H1 development coming in spring 2020.
According the company, some of work requires “a longer lead time,” which is the reason testers are getting this build on devices set to receive 19H2 previews.
Windows 10 build 18836 doesn’t include new features or significant improvements, nor the software giant is revealing the changes expected to release with version 2003. This preview only includes fixes and minor changes, such as the “Windows Light” theme now has been renamed to “Windows (light)” and more.
While participants of the program with devices in the Skip Ahead lane are getting build 18836 today, Microsoft explains that after releasing the April 2019 Update, testers will once again start receiving previews for the 19H2 development.
Microsoft is listing the complete set of improvements, fixes, and known issues for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18836 at the Windows Blog.
