Microsoft has released the fourth firmware update for its Surface Duo device to improve stability and audio quality. You can now add called to conference calls, and this rollout patches security vulnerabilities with the Android operating system.
According to the Microsoft support website, the firmware update was originally made available on January 27, and it is meant only for unlocked devices.

Here are the improvements available for Duo in January 2021:
- Fixes scenarios outlined in the Android Security Bulletin (December 2020 and January 2021).
- Adds the ability to add a caller to conference calls in certain conditions.
- Improves UI stability.
- Improves audio quality when using speaker mode.
- Improves touch stability.
The update will download and install automatically on your device, but you can get it from the Android update settings page if you have not received it.
