Original Xbox games backwards compatibility list

Microsoft revives original Xbox games through backwards compatibility on Xbox One consoles. (Last updated: April 2018.)

UPDATE 4/11: You can now play original Xbox games on your Xbox One console thanks to backwards compatibility. Originally, Microsoft introduced the ability to play original Xbox games on Xbox One in October 24, 2017, with 13 titles, but now starting April 10, 2018, the company is adding 19 new games to list.

According to Microsoft, the games look even better on your Xbox One with up to four times the pixel count on Xbox One or Xbox One S, and if you have an Xbox One X the pixel count can go even higher up to 16X.

Using backwards compatibility, you’ll be able to play original Xbox games using a physical disc or purchasing and downloading games from the Microsoft Store. You can check the list of Xbox 360 games compatible with Xbox One here.

Do original Xbox games include Achievements? ― No. Achievements was not a feature available for the original Xbox, so it’s not a feature available through backwards compatibility.
