Windows 11 update KB5033453 improves Share and Microsoft Store

Microsoft makes available a new update preview of Windows 11 that rolls out improvements for Share and Microsoft Store.

Windows 11 update KB5033453 is now rolling out in the Windows Insider Program Beta Channel. The update introduces some new improvements and fixes for computers with the option to get the latest updates turned on.

The update KB5033453 bumps the build number to 22635.2850, and according to the official changes, the release updated the “Share” feature with the ability to share files through the WhatsApp app. If you don’t have the app installed on your computer, you can click the app icon to install it.

This update ships a new version of the Microsoft Store that introduces the ability to install apps directly from the web browser from the Home, Apps, and Games pages from the Store website. 

Also, the Microsoft Store added a dedicated page to find games you can start playing immediately without installing, and the company made some performance improvements.

Microsoft doesn’t reveal any known issue for the update KB5033453.

Install build 22635.2850

If you want to download and install the Windows 11 build 22635.2850, enroll your device in the Beta Channel using the “Windows Insider Program” settings from the “Windows Update” section.

Once you enroll the computer in the program, you can download build 22635.2850 from the “Windows Update” settings by checking the “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” option and clicking the “Check for Updates” button. However, if you are new to the Windows Insider Program, you will need a device that meets the minimum system requirements to receive the update.
