Microsoft is releasing the Windows 10 build 20262 for PCs enrolled in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider Program. This is the preview number 48 available for testers, and it’s like a typical quality update with a bunch of fixes without new features.

According to the changelogs, build 20262 includes fixes to prevent apps from launching transparent unexpectedly, problems with the Settings app crashes, app registration issues, notifications, and pen not responding.

In addition, this flight addresses high hitting DWM crashes and resolves issue when Wi-Fi and cellular are connected at the same time and apps can’t connect to the internet.

Windows 10 build 20262 doesn’t introduce any significant changes, and part of the reason is that the company is getting ready to stop releasing builds during the last month of the year, due to minimal operation during the holiday season. However, new Insider builds are expected to start rolling out again in early 2021, and that’s when we should expect more important changes to appear.

Microsoft is listing the complete set of improvements, fixes, and known issues for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 20262 at the Windows Blog.
