Windows 10 build 19582 releasing in the Fast ring

Build 19582 for Windows 10 is now available for testers with changes in the Settings app and Eye Control – here's all you need to know.

Microsoft is now releasing Windows 10 build 19587.1001 to devices enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is the tenth previews rolling out for testers, and it’s a small update that introduces several fixes and improvements that are expected to be available in future releases.

Windows 10 build 19587, according to the company, updates the Eye Control settings to span multiple pages, so that options are easier to find and understand.

In the Settings app, starting with build 19582, Windows 10 is removing the Windows Security status details from the “About” page. Also, the “Time & Date” settings have been updated to gray out the “set time zone automatically” toggle if location has been disabled.

In addition, this flight updates the Scottish Gaelic keyboard in three ways:

  • Pressing AltGR + 7 will now input ⁊ (U+204A TIRONIAN SIGN ET).
  • Pressing will now directly insert that character (right single quote).
  • Pressing AltGr + ‘ will now act as a dead key to combine an acute accent with a subsequent letter.

Microsoft is listing the complete set of improvements, fixes, and known issues for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 19582 at the Windows Blog.
