Alongside with two new October 2018 Update test previews for Insiders, Microsoft is also rolling out update KB4457128 for Windows 10 April 2018 Update (version 1803) as part of September’s Patch Tuesday to fix a few issues.
KB4457128 bumps the version number to build 17134.285, and according to the software giant, the update delivers more mitigations against the Spectre Variant 2 vulnerability (CVE-2017-5715) affecting ARM64 devices.
It addresses an issue that causes the Program Compatibility Assistant (PCA) service to have excessive CPU usage.
Additionally, update KB4457128 ships with security patches for Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft scripting engine, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows media, Windows Shell, Windows Hyper-V, Windows datacenter networking, Windows virtualization and kernel, Windows Linux, Windows kernel, Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows MSXML, and Windows Server.
Windows 10 version 1709
The Fall Creators Update (version 1709) is getting update KB4457142, and the Windows support site referred it as “September 11, 2018—KB4457142 (OS Build 16299.665)”.

Windows 10 version 1703
The Creators Update (version 1703) is getting update KB4457138, and the Windows support site referred it as “September 11, 2018—KB4457138 (OS Build 15063.1324)”.
If you’re already running version 1703 on your PC, this update ships with security patches for Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft scripting engine, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows media, Windows Shell, Device Guard, Windows datacenter networking, Windows kernel, Windows hyper-V, Windows virtualization and kernel, Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows MSXM, and Windows Server.
Phones running the Windows 10 Creators Update are getting update KB4459082, which bumps the version number to build 15254.530, and it includes the same changes noted above.
Older versions of Windows 10
Although the Anniversary Update (version 1609) is no longer supported, organizations with Windows 10 Enterprise or Education are getting update KB4457131, which bumps the version to build 14393.2485, and it patches some security problems.
