Microsoft is rolling out update KB4345215 for testers with devices enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This new release bumps the version number of Windows 10 to build 17713.1002, and according to the company, it’s just a cumulative update designed to “test the servicing pipeline in preparation for releasing this build to the Slow ring.”
Although you won’t find any new features and improvements, Microsoft notes that Windows Defender Application Guard will stop working after applying this update.
While there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 17713.1002, the update (KB4345215) is available immediately through the Fast ring for PCs. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.
The Skip Ahead option is open again
Alongside the release of the cumulative update, Microsoft is also announcing that the Skip Ahead option is once again available to opt-in to receive builds for the Windows 10 19H1 update. If you want to get early access, you must change your settings to opt-in now in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program as the company will be allowing only a limited number of users to participate.
