Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 17672 for PCs enrolled in the Fast ring and Skip Ahead lane. This new release is part of the Redstone 5 development arriving later this year, and it’s a minor update that only delivers a bunch of fixes.
Windows 10 build 17672, according to the company, requires antivirus products to run as a protected process to register. Otherwise, the software will not integrate with the Windows Security application, and it’ll keep the Windows Defender Antivirus running along with the third-party security software, which can affect performance issues.
