Surface Duo devices pick up August 2022 update

Surface Duo's first and second gen are getting new updates in August, and here's all you need to know.

Microsoft is now rolling out updates for its Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2 devices. In this release, you won’t find significant changes or new features. Instead, this update delivers some stability and security patches.

These are the improvements, fixes, and new features with the August 2022 update.

  • Improves video quality during video calls.

  • Addresses Scenarios outlined in the Andriod Security Bulletin- August 2022

The update will download and install automatically, but you can install it manually from the Android update settings page if your Duo has not received it.
