Surface Pro 7+ is the newest member of the Surface line that Microsoft is making available exclusively for business and education customers. Since the device only includes new internals, the company decided not to go with the “Surface Pro 8” or a different name. Instead, it calls it the “Surface Pro 7+” (or Surface Pro 7 Plus.)
The Surface Pro 7+ follows the exact exterior design as the Surface Pro 7 (2019), but the new internals set the new device apart from its sibling. The new tablet features the latest Intel’s 11th Get processors, up to 32GB of memory, up to 1TB of removable storage, a larger battery, and optional LTE connectivity.
Perhaps one of the most interesting design changes is that Microsoft had to flip the internals to accommodate the removable SSD. And it has updated the Thermal Design Model (TDM) to fit the larger 50.4Wh battery, which the company claims up to 15 hours of battery life in a single charge.
In addition, the 7 Plus comes in platinum or matte black colors. You are still getting a 12.3-inch (2736 x 1824-pixel) display, and you will find the same ports as the 2019 model, but with the addition of a nano-SIM slot on the LTE variant without 5G connectivity.

As per usual, the device comes without a keyboard, and you need to buy it separately.
The Surface Pro 7+ has several models you can choose from, starting with the base model that starts at $899 and comes with a Core i3 processor, 8GB of memory, and 128GB of removable storage.
The mid-level model starts at $1149 and features a Core i5 processor, and it is the only model that comes with the optional LTE connectivity.
Finally, the top-level model will cost $2799, and it comes with a Core i7 processor with the option of up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage.
Microsoft plans to make the Surface Pro 7 Plus available for business and education costumers starting January 15, 2021, through many of its retailer partners, including CDW, Staples, Verizon Wireless, PCM, ShoftChoice, Zones, shi, Connection, and many others. However, the new device won’t be available for regular consumers.
