Wunderlist export tool

Microsoft expected to close down Wunderlist app in spring 2020

If you're still using Wunderlist, you have until May 2020 to move to the Microsoft To Do app or export your data as the service will shut down permanently.

Microsoft is planning to permanently shut down its Wunderlist task-management app in May 2020, and according to a new report from ZDNet, this will happen on May 6.

Wunderlist was originally created by the 6Wunderkinder company, which Microsoft bought in 2015, and the company replaced with the Microsoft To Do app.

Although Wunderlist will continue to be available for another several months, the software giant has already stopped pushing updates and adding new features, and it’s now not longer possible to sign up for a new account.

If you happen to be using Wunderlist, now it’s a good time to make the move to the Microsoft To Do service using the importing tool.

In the case that you don’t want to use the replacement app, Microsoft is also making available a tool to export your data and lists to a zip file.
