Windows 10 build 19041.153, update KB4541738

New RAID 5 Volume is grayed out on Windows 10

Best answer: The client version of Windows 10 doesn’t include support to create a RAID 5 setup. It’s only available on Windows Server versions.

If you’re trying to set up a RAID 5 on Windows 10, you’ll notice that the New RAID 5 Volume option is grayed out.

Although the option is there, it’s a feature only available in the server version of the OS. However, you can still use Stripped option to achieve a similar experience.
