Windows 11 build 25915 is now available for computers enrolled in the Canary Channel of the Windows Insider Program, and it includes some new changes and improvements.
Build 25915 for Windows 11, according to the official changes, improves refresh rate logic for graphics cards to allow different refresh rates on different monitors, depending on the refresh rate for each monitor and content shown on the screen.
Also, while a Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR) is selected and Battery Saver is also enabled, the system will remain at the lower refresh rate and not switch to the higher rate until after the Battery Saver feature is disabled.
Finally, starting on Windows 11 build 25915, Microsoft is making the new Outlook app the default email client for the operating system.
As part of the known issues, this build will not be offered to ASUS devices or PCs with ASUS motherboards, and the Ethernet-connected devices may lose network connectivity after updating to this build.
Installing builds
To download and install the Windows 11 build 25915, you must enroll your device in the Canary Channel through the “Windows Insider Program” settings from the “Update & Security” section. Once you enroll the computer in the program, you can download the build from the “Windows Update” settings by clicking the “Check for Updates” button.
