The Windows 10 May 2019 Update receives its first quality update to fix security vulnerabilities.

Microsoft is now releasing Windows 10 build 18356.53 as update KB4495666 for devices in any ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is the first quality update rolling out since the final version of May 2019 Update became available in the Release Preview ring for testers.

After installing the update KB4495666 on your computer running the build 18356.30, the version number will bump to build 18356.53, and according to the company, this is just a monthly security update part of the April 2019 Patch Tuesday.

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 18362.53, the update is available immediately through the Slow, Fast, and Release Preview ring. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.

Warning: This is a pre-release version of Windows 10, and it’s not recommended to install on your primary machine. If you’re planning to test this build, make sure to create a backup of your files before proceeding.
