Ahead of the launch of the Windows 10 20H2 (October 2020 Update), Microsoft is re-releasing the update KB4577063 as build 19042.546 for devices enrolled in the Beta and Release Preview Channel of the Windows Insider Program.
According to the company, the update includes all the changes previously available with build 19042.541, and two new fixes, including a fix to stop preventing a device from entering in Modern Standby, and reliability problems with opening multiple tabs or windows on the Chromium version of Microsoft Edge.
Microsoft is expected to officially launch version 20H2 in the coming days as a quick optional update for devices already running version 2004, and as a full upgrade for computers running an older version. This is not a feature update that will includes a lot of visual improvements, but it’ll introduces a slew of incremental changes in the Settings app, Start menu, and Microsoft Edge.
