Ahead of the official release, Microsoft is now re-releasing cumulative update KB4552455 as Windows 10 build 19041.173 for devices running version 2004 (preview).
KB4552455 is a small update that bumps the version number to build 19041.173, and according to the company fixes an issue for older versions of apps from starting by directing users to install the latest version of these apps.
The update also address a problem that fails to allocate resources during device initialization, which causes certain USB mass storage devices to stop working. Fixed issue that prevents the mute button from working on certain computers with the Your Phone app. Resolves an issue that causes a fault in the input-output memory management unit (IOMMU) and a DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION (e6) error.
In addition, update KB4552455 updates the Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) to increase the coverage for automatic cellular provisioning on devices with mobile broadband.
