Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 10 build 17741 for testers with PCs enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is the 26th preview available for the Redstone 5 development, and while it doesn’t include new features, it’s still a significant build as it’s the first preview that switches the version number officially to 1809.
Windows 10 build 17741, according to the software maker, updates the Emoji Panel to support search and tooltips for the Emoji 11. Tweaks the image size limit for clipboard history (Windows key + V) from 1MB to 4MB to accommodate the potential size of full screen screenshots taken on a high-DPI device, and it adjusts to improve the amount of CPU that cdpusersvc uses.
In addition, this flight addresses problems with taskbar flyout, Spotlight, Cortana, Action Center, Settings, Microsoft Store, and Microsoft Edge.
At this point in the development, all the new big features and improvements planned for the Redstone 5 update are already included in build 17741, but the update isn’t still considered a final product.
Microsoft is listing the complete set of improvements, fixes, and known issues for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17741 at the Windows Blog.
