Windows 10 build 17733

Windows 10 build 17733 releases with new improvements

The dark theme for File Explorer is now complete, and it's available in the latest preview for the Windows 10 Redstone 5 update.

Microsoft has begun the rollout of Windows 10 build 17733 to PCs enrolled in the Fast ring of the Windows Insider Program. This is the twenty third preview available as part of the Redstone 5 development, and it’s another minor update that only includes fixes and small improvements, as the company is now in the stages of finalizing the update for its September-October launch.

Windows 10 build 17733, according to Microsoft, ships the finalized version of the new dark theme for File Explorer. Some of the Fluent Design changes that we’ve seen in previous builds have been pulled, but the company says that they’ll return in the future. Also, this flight fixes a few issues regarding sound, high contrast, touch keyboard, and it fixes a slew of problems with Narrator too.

At this point in the development, all the new big features and improvements planned for the Redstone 5 update are already included in build 17733, but the update isn’t still considered a complete product.

Microsoft is listing the complete set of improvements, fixes, and known issues for Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17733 at the Windows Blog.
