- Windows 11 23H2 receives build 22635.2700 (KB5031452) in the Beta Channel.
- The update only fixes an issue for desktop icons.
Windows 11 build 22635.2700 (KB5031452) is now available in the Beta Channel of the Windows Insider Program with one specific fix and one known issue for version 23H2.
According to the Microsoft announcement on the Windows Blog, the update KB5031452 fixes an issue causing the setting to turn off using drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop.
Finally, as part of the known issues, the software giant is trying to resolve a crash issue with the Snipping Tool on ARM-based devices.
As a reminder, Microsoft is no longer splitting the Beta Channel into two different builds, and moving forward, participants of the Windows Insider Program will receive the same “22635” build through an enablement package. Also, it is important to note that the company will gradually roll out features through its Control Feature Rollout (CFR) technology, meaning that not everyone will receive all the announced features for a particular build immediately.
