Windows 10 build 18214 releases with new improvements

You can now download the second preview, part of the 19H1 development, for Windows 10 version 1903.

Microsoft is releasing Windows 10 build 18214 for PCs enrolled the Fast ring with the Skip Ahead option of the Windows Insider Program. This is the second preview available as part of the 19H1 development, and it’s a minor update that includes only a small set of changes and improvements.

Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18214, according to the company, makes the Your Phone app fully available for testers in the Skip Ahead. In addition, this flight includes fixes for Clock & Calendar, Safe Mode, Timeline, DPI settings, Fast Startup, and more.

Unfortunately, there are no new features or big improvements, but in the coming weeks, Microsoft is expected to start rolling out new builds with different improvements and new features specific for the 19H1 development.

If you want to get an early start with the next version of Windows 10, you need to change your device settings to enroll in the Skip Ahead lane as soon as possible as it’s an option available for a limited time for a limited number of participants.

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 18214, the update is available immediately through the Skip Ahead option. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update and clicking the Check for updates button.
