Microsoft was scheduled to release the next major refresh of Windows 10 (version 1803) on April 10, but then a bug that could cause Blue Screen of Death (BOSD) led to the delay of the update.

Instead of addressing the issue creating a patch through Windows Update, Microsoft made the decision to release a new a build that includes the fix.

Although the problem has now been solved, and the update is back on track for a possible rollout in April 2018, interesting enough, we’re still don’t know the official name. Even though, the company mentioned the Spring Creators Update name numerous times.

Now it seems that Microsoft may be planning to use the “Windows 10 April 2018 Update” as the final marketing name for version 1803, as a reference of that name was spotted on video from the company — by Microsoft enthusiast known as WalkingCat in Twitter (via The Verge).

However, bear in mind that “April 2018 Update” isn’t official, due to the bug and the remaining testing could push the release even further making the company change the name again.

Windows 10 version 1803 will deliver a new set of features and improvements such as Timeline, Nearby Sharing, changes in the Settings app, Fluent Design System, and lot more.
